the LDX paparazzi team took a break during the CNY holidays so, as per Agent Hxx2's request, here is a proper, non-tabloid post detailing the lab's CNY festivities over the past few days.

tuesday 20 feb 2007--incidentally also a certain Dr. Wang's birthday, although said person was MIA all day..tsk. (kidding, Dr. Wang!)

12.25PM (thanks to a certain Mr. B. Ng who was atrociously late): at Mr and Mrs Jxxx's castle, we ate a lot of pizza (with mystery 'bak kwa' meat that didnt even taste remotely of 'bak kwa'), watched a lot of tv, and a certain Agent RxxxHxx took a lot of photos, paparazzi style. said photos will *not* be posted because a frivolous post, this is not.




3.45PM: at Dr. Xulh's palace, where all the attention is on the new baby prince, all of 14 days old and already with armani-styled hair. the (older) baby princess, all of 3years 6days old, is very bright and has such long, curly eyelashes that all the girls were very jealous. everybody ate a lot of..erm..fruits cos by then all were too full of pizza to eat anything else.

It was the 14th of Feb, the dreaded day for most singles out there... but some managed to find solace and comfort.

Countdown to Chinese New Year 2007

It's 4 days to CNY. And the lab is all geared up for the festive season. From chinese new year decors (painstakingly made by our multi-talented Liu Yun who can also make balloon sculptures, floral bouquets etc. A good catch =P), to chinese new year goodies brought to us by Dr Nasir (biscuits, hello panda and lots and lots of canned drinks. Yummy) and chocolates from benson and boonhunt. (I can hardly see any inch of writing space on my desk. *sob*). Wow, hee so fun.

Valentine's Day @ LDX Lab

An eventful V-day or Friendship day for all LDX members. The pictures say it all.

Our lovely couple in romantic pink gamely posed for our camera: Wonder where they are going later on.

Promising couple in matching black refused to be caught on screen together (but we managed to anyway).

Florist@LDX Lab

We decided that if we cannot be productive in research, it'll be good to arm ourselves with another skill. Respond to government's call to "Diversify, Upgrade".

Hence, Ronghua founded the LDX Florist School in the very premise of LDX School of Coronavirus research. Within days, with the simple formula of "stick the wrapper to the stick, stick the chocolate to the wrapper, stick the chocolate, wrapper and stick together" (or simply "stick the thing to the thing" for advance students), the lab was transformed to a high productivity floral shop, churning out bouquets after bouquets of rocher err..bouquets.

And my my, we must say that the products are rather professional... (well if you ignore the fact that the chocolates cannot take knocks, prone to dropping off due to, we suspect, low quality tapes). Still we take pleasure to showcase some of our works below.

Sadly, like all great products, piracy ( known as passion bouquets) still managed to plaque the production. In order to encourage all potential customers (yes we are thinking of making a business out of this, keep a lookout for us!) to "be HIP, be original", please read the following testimonial:

Scandal: Thai Express

When Mr Jxxx is attending a course and Mr Axxxx (not sure abt the surname) is on reservist, Mrs Jxxxx and Ms. Hxx2 (prospective Mrs Axxxx) was caught at Thai Express @ Citylink on a Friday late afternoon in the year of 2007, Feb 02.

What could they be doing? Lets see what our papparazzi team snapped on their lil rendezvous.

Oh, they really are together! Sitting side by side, Ms. Hxx2 posed for our hidden cameraman unknowingly, but I can't make out what's she trying to do by licking her upper lip. They seemed to be concentrating their attention on something or someone in front of them.



Indeed, there's a third person at the meeting, Ms. Sxxxx. What is she doing there. Although Mrs Jxxx and Ms. Hxx2 were staring at her, she doesn't seem to be paying attention to them. Wonder whats captivated her on the table.




Oh Oh Oh! 3 cheers to cameraman's quick fingers (thats me). What were Mrs Jxxx and Ms. Hxx2 doing behind the menu! What did they have to hide! This scandal has proved to be more interesting than expected. Not only is there a third person involved, the 'scandalous' pair obviously has something to hide behind the menu and maybe even from Ms. Sxxxx.

DR. Nxxx 25 AGAIN, LONER NO MORE

Ringleader surprises many
by deserting his anti-social
ways

Dr Nxxx surprises many by voluntarily walking out of the shadow of loneliness to join Bin Qi (also affectionately known as Son of Qi) on the Biopolis shuttle bus this afternoon. His actions had shocked many, prompting them to join the ranks of increasingly popular ad-hoc ldx papparazzi syndicate.
"This is definitely a breakthrough" said one eye-witness.

Although Dr. Nxxx still appeared somewhat nervous and shy about his daring "move" on, er, to Binqi, he still gamely strikes various "mysterious" poses for our papparazzi team. (See pictures)
This isn't the first time Dr Nxxx had created such a buzz today. In the early morning of this friday morning, he generously displayed his youthful strength by unscrewing 2 tightly (very very tight) 1000cc bottles without breaking into any sweat.

"He uncontrollably shouted 'Yes, This is yet proof again that I'm indeed 25!!" said his neighbour, wanted to known only as Ms Wxxx.

His Herculean feat apparently swept a certain smitten Mrs Jxxx. "His eyes are electrifying.." coo-ed Mrs Jxxx. "such a charming boy".

Well, this is what happened actually on that day when this pic was taken. These two men have been in fact competing with each other for some one they admired for long. When the one was standing right in front of them one day, one of them couldn't help hugging the one, when the other managed to stop him by wrapping his arms and smirking.
