Finally... its our turn..

So many labs have been closed for the past 2 years... been wondering when is our turn.. Finally, heard the news that our lab will be closed down after a year.. Waiting for our boss to tell us the truth in person.. BUT he does it thru email.. wonder why he never want to say during lab meeting.

I felt really sad. This lab was set up in 2003. I can remember those times with benson, sze wei and xiaohan. We always go home at 530. hee hee.. waiting for each other to finish PCR and run one gel together..

Then the lab grew bigger... with siti, ivy, yin chern, Le tra my, yamada, dr fang, chen bo, linghui and boon hunt joining.. den later nasir, hui hui, ronghua, yanxin, chenguang, Selina, Kim, Hari, Hongyuan, domina and serene... We have so many attachment students over these years. Let me see if I remember everyone.. Yvonne, Wendy, Derrick, Tuan ling, 2 X Peiling, Wingyan, Debbie, Xiao Jun, Khian Hong, Huiling X 2, Huijun, Alvin, Harwin, Kah Suan, weijie, Liu yun, John, Anne, Raymond, Jia Chi, Zhi wei, Justin, Kaili, Samuel, Swee sen, Shawn, Christen and Qiyan. They have been wonderful helps to the lab.. even its only 2 mths.

Just before everyone starts moving on to new places.. I really want to thank everyone for all the helps, care and concern, joy and laughter. Its you all who make my six years here worthwhile. Special thanks to a few pple who was there beside me thru my difficult times. I oso want to take this opportunity to say sorry to pple whom I had hurt or misunderstood. They know who they are. BECOS of YOU ALL... I grew up... I really learn a lot of things from everybody not only experimental techniques but how to manage human relationships.

I really hope that I will not be the last one to leave this lab.... it really hurts me a lot.. becos pple whom I started this lab are longer here wif me to see the closure of this lab.. (at least we have started together and do the move from old to new building).
